DRIVING TIPS & TRICKS YOU MAY HAVE NOT HEARD OR TRIED TILL NOW- ☆PART:3☆

DRIVING  TIPS & TRICKS YOU  MAY HAVE NOT HEARD OR  TRIED TILL NOW- ☆PART:3☆

1- USING  GARLIC ON CRACKING WINDSHIELD-

Use garlic to avoid windshield cracking more- Take a clove of garlic, cut it lengthwise down the middle, rub the side over the crack, and wipe away the excess juice with paper towel or napkin to keep the crack from getting worse until you can get it repaired.

2- DRIVING ON  SAND-

Before driving onto a beach or into the desert, get out and drop your tire pressure to 12 psi or 83 kpa, which helps you "float" on the sand. If you do start to sink into the sand, keep the momentum going: Do not stop. If you really feel the car getting stuck, reverse, back out, and look for a better way forward.

2- GIVE THE GEAR A REST-

Shift into neutral at traffic lights. The transmission doesn't care, and it makes life a bit easier for the engine. This technique reduces the amount of heat carried by the cooling system and can increase petrol mileage.

3- LIGHTEN  YOUR  KEYCHAIN-

Lighten your keychain If your car key shares a chain with a dozen other keys, it can turn into a hefty load hanging from your ignition. All that weight could cause tumblers in the ignition to wear out, which could eventually cause ignition failure.

4-GOT A FLAT TIRE?

If you wake up one morning and notice you have a flat tire, check to see if the tire valve cap is missing. If so, you probably just have a leaking valve.

6- PARKING ON SLOPES-

When you're parking on a slope, put the handbrake and along with it, put it in gear (1st if your car is facing uphill and in reverse gear if it is facing downhill).

7- TIRE  PRESSURE-

Check your tire pressure at least twice a month- If  tires do not have enough air, too much heat is generated inside because the resistance against the road is stronger. If your tire is under inflated by even two psi- it will last 6000kms less!

8- CURBS TO THE RESCUE-

If you park your car headed downhill, turn the steering wheel towards the curb. If your parking brake fails, the vehicle will be stopped by the curbs. If you park your car headed uphill, turn the steering wheel away from the curb.

9- ACRYLIC SHEET TO AVOID SUNLIGHT-

In order not to get blinded by the sun, take an acrylic sheet and put it on the windshield. Acrylic is easily attached to the windshield thanks to static electricity, and it protects your eyes from ultraviolet rays very well.

10- CAR  SICKNESS-

If you've got a long road ahead of you and you are worried that you might get car sick, there is a fantastic solution! You may be surprised, but you just need to put a tej patta (bay leaf), or even a cinnamon leaf under your tongue!

11- DROWSY WHEN DRIVING-

If you are feeling a bit drowsy when driving, put a piece of lemon under your tongue. This will wake you up very quickly. But still, I don't recommend you to drive when you are tired!

Till the next time, keep smiling always and Happy Motoring...
