TOP 10-BEST SELLING CAR-2015

The Indian auto market is flooded with new car launches thus choosing the best  selling car is become cumbersome.The year 2015  started off with a bang that we saw many new launches and facelifts coming one after another.India's largest car-maker Maruti Suzuki India continues its dominance on the Indian roads, with its four models, led by entry-level small car Alto, heading the top ten best sellers list.Maruti, has proved ‘who is the boss on Indian road’.
Below mentioned are the top 10 selling cars in india today (as of may 2015):

As you see from the above figures, the Alto continues to be the highest selling car in India at 22,595 units which is higer than the previous month’s sales. In April, the Swift overtook the DZire in sales but this time the latter has regained its position back with 19,663 units while the Swift sold in 17,195 numbers.Following the Swift, is  the Wagon R which sold 12,467 units in May as compared to 13,872 units in April. In April, the Hyundai Elite i20 was at the fifth position while the Grand i10 was at sixth position and this month these Korean siblings have interchanged their slots. The Grand i10 sold 10,112 units while the Elite i20 managed 8469 units. The Honda City continues to remain at seventh position this month as well, registering sales of 7562 units. The Maruti Celerio has now moved up from ninth to eighth position with sales of 6653 units.

There is no doubt Maruti Suzuki rules the Indian roads along with Hyundai. Helping Maruti is the hatchback, Alto that has returned as the higest selling car in the country.Korean carmaker, Hyundai's compact sedan, the Xcent has returned to the list of top 10 selling cars after a gap of seven months.With this, Ford Aspire and Tata Zest could not catch up.However Honda City has touched the 7000 mark sales and thrown out its rival, Hyundai Verna completely.
