PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE CHECKLIST

      


Getting your car serviced each year – and maintaining it between services – is money well spent. Problems are likely to be caught early on when they’re cheaper to fix, and your car will have a better resale value and longer life.A well-maintained car is also more efficient, so you’ll save money on fuel as well.
The following are some of the car services and their estimated kilometer when they needs replacement or inspection:

  1. Lubrication,Oil and Filter- Every 5000kms or 3 months.
  2. Air Filter-Inspect/Replace every 5000kms.
  3. Brake Inspection-Every 10000kms.
  4. Windshield wiper blades-Every 12 months.
  5. Battery-Every 5 years.
  6. Brake pad- Every 50000 kms(as long as you don't press always)
  7. Tire Rotation and inspection- Every 10000kms.
  8. Tire Balance-Every 25000kms/every 12 months.
  9. Clean and adjust Rear brakes-As required, every 10000kms.
  10. Brake system fluid-Every 50000kms.
  11. Wheel Alignment/ Inspection-Every 25000kms or 12 months.
  12. Fuel filter replacement-Every 40000kms.
  13. Fuel Injection Service-Every 50000kms.
  14. Coolant system fluid-Every 36000kms or 2 years.
  15. Timing Belt- Every 100000kms.
  16. Spark Plugs- Every 10000kms.
  17. Gear oil- Every 20000kms.


Please note that your car's service manual is the key to keeping your vehicle in good condition.It's also a good idea to use the service manaual to plan ahead for the cost of your car's maintance and repairs bills.
